Temperature:

From -4.5C to +6C at 15:00 hrs to +1C at 18:00 hrs.

Description of the Day:

Very nice day for November. Chinook cloudiness in the morning with clearing in the afternoon. Ridge wind from SW all day. From 50-81 km in morning hours to 25-40 km in mid-afternoon.
Eagles flew over Fisher Range from 10 to 17:00 hrs.

Migrant Golden Eagle Count:

54 ( adults-29, sub adults- 12, juvenile-7, unaged-6 )

Migrant Other Raptor Count By Species:

Bald Eagles - 6 ( adult-3, sub adult-2, immature-1 ), Northern Goshawk -1 juvenile, Rough-legged Hawk - 1 unaged, dark morph.

Period with Most Migrants:

Between 11-12:00 hrs with 12 migrants. All were Golden Eagles.

Total Migratory Raptors:

62

Non-Migrant Raptors:

1 adult Northern Goshawk.

Other Birds of Note:

Ring-billed Gull - 4, Northern Shrike - 2 ( adult & juvenile ), American Dipper - 2, Common Merganser - 4,
Bohemian Waxwing - 5.

Other Observations:

White-tailed Deer - 6, Bighorn Sheep - 14.
