From +10C to +7C at 9:00 hrs to +19C at 15:00 hrs to +16C at 19:00 hrs

Description of the Day:

Very nice sunny day with moderate wind and up to 50% cloud cover. But hardly any bird activity. We observed no eagles today.

Migrant Golden Eagle Count:

Migrant Other Raptor Count By Species:

Sharp-shinned Hawk - 7, Red-tailed Hawk - 2

Period with Most Migrants:

Between 13-14:00 hrs = 3 raptors ( 2 Sharp-shinned Hawks & 1 Red-tailed Hawk ) and between 15-16:00 hrs ( 3 Sharp-shinned hawks ).

Total Migratory Raptors:

9

Non-Migrant Raptors:

2 ( pair of Northern Goshawks )

Other Birds of Note:

American Dipper-1, Ruffed Grouse-3, American Crow-1, Common Raven-6, Pine Grosbeak-1, White-throated Sparrow-1, American Robin-1, Black-capped Chickadee-1, Pine Siskin-9, Northern Flicker-1, Common Merganser-3, Dark-eyed Junco-1.
