Weather:
The day started with heavy snow and a cloud ceiling at valley bottom level. Due to a poor forecast, persisting snow and a low cloud ceiling, the count was called off for the day at 1100 MST. Nakiska base webcam showed the cloud ceiling rose around 1400 MST, but ridgetops appeared obscured until sunset.
