Description of the Day:

Overcast and calm morning. Cloud layer gradually thinned and broke-up throughout the day becoming clear by mid-afternoon. Ground and ridge-level winds were calm to light SW all day. Slow raptor movement. All birds flew over the Fisher Range close to ridge level.

Migrant Golden Eagle Count:

3 (2 adults, 1 juvenile)

Migrant Other Raptor Count By Species:

10 Bald Eagles, 1 Rough-legged Hawk, 1 Northern Goshawk

Period with Most Migrants:

15:00 to 16:00 with 7 migrants.

Total Migratory Raptors:

15

Non-Migrant Raptors:

1 Golden Eagle

Other Birds of Note:

35 Canada Geese, 2 Canada Jays, 1 Black-billed Magpie, 11 Common Ravens, 3 Black-capped Chickadees, 2 Common Redpolls, 4 White-winged Crossbills, 1 Pine Grosbeak, 1 American Dipper
